Physical Therapist (PT) – Rochester, NY | Full-Time School-Based Position

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for an exciting full-time, onsite opportunity in Rochester, New York. This position will support preschool-aged students at the Golisano Autism Center and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners with specialized needs.

This assignment is a maternity leave coverage position beginning with the Extended School Year (ESY) program and continuing into the 2026-2027 school year, with the possibility of extension.

Position Details

• Location: Rochester, NY (Golisano Autism Center)
• Setting: School-Based / Autism Center
• Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week
• Onsite: Required
• ESY Dates: July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026
• School Year Dates: September 8, 2026 – October 31, 2026
• Potential Extension: Through November 2026
• Caseload: Approximately 25-30 preschool students
• Age Range: 3-5 years old

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to preschool-aged students
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Support student mobility, motor development, and functional independence
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress reports
• Assist in recommending adaptive equipment and environmental modifications

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Active New York Physical Therapist License
• Pediatric experience preferred
• School-based experience is a plus
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders is beneficial
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
