School-Based Physical Therapist - Rochester, WA

You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized plans, making a meaningful difference in children’s lives through your specialized therapy skills.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation processes
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient in adapting interventions to diverse needs and learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services for students birth–grade 12
• Conduct assessments to develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEP teams
• Track and document student progress and make data-driven recommendations for modifications
• Educate and support school staff and families regarding student needs, adaptation strategies, and equipment use
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district policies and timelines
