School-Based Physical Therapist - Rocky Point, NC

In this vital role, you'll work with a diverse caseload, tailoring interventions and treatment plans to meet each student’s unique needs. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators to create inclusive environments that foster student progress—academically, physically, and socially.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina (or eligible)
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare Physical Therapy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and document progress
• Flexibility to support students from PreK through high school

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations
• Document services and progress according to school and federal guidelines
• Serve as a resource to school personnel and families regarding mobility, equipment, and access
