Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in California
  • Demonstrated experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Comfort completing assessments and developing treatment plans for students with diverse needs
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and team members
  • Ability to manage time independently and efficiently in a consultative role

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and provide consultative physical therapy services to students as needed
  • Develop individualized goals and recommendations based on each student’s needs
  • Coordinate with teachers and staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and support for student participation and access
  • Document assessments, interventions, and progress according to school requirements and professional standards
  • Offer guidance on adaptive equipment, positioning, and mobility within the school environment, as appropriate
