Help students reach their fullest potential as a Full Time Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role is based in a supportive school environment near the beautiful Roseburg area. You'll join a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for students with diverse needs.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Oregon Physical Therapist (PT) License required
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment programs for students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators
- Comfortable conducting assessments, writing reports, and maintaining detailed documentation
- Demonstrates flexibility, creativity, and a passion for helping young learners achieve their goals
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess students’ functional abilities and monitor progress throughout the school year
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Develop therapy activities that are engaging, age-appropriate, and tailored to individual student needs
- Assist with training staff on activities and interventions to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Document all therapy sessions and progress in compliance with school and state requirements
