This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a focused weekly schedule of 9 hours. You'll play an integral role in supporting student wellness and development, working closely with educators and families to foster positive outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Experience delivering PT services in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and personalize therapy plans for children with diverse abilities
  • Organizational skills to effectively manage caseloads and maintain timely records

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized plans to support educational access
  • Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and parents to integrate therapy supports within classroom routines
  • Deliver direct and consultative PT services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Document progress, complete required reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Provide training or resources to staff and families to enable continuity of therapy strategies
  • Uphold compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines related to school-based therapy
