Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active Physical Therapist License issued by the State Board of Physical Therapy
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A patient, encouraging approach to working with children of all abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Assess, plan, and implement appropriate interventions to promote student progress
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ educational and developmental goals
  • Complete required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations tailored to each student's needs
