Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience providing therapy services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Proficient in assessments, IEP participation, treatment planning, and progress documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for working with students, educators, and parents
- Ability to work autonomously, manage caseloads efficiently, and adapt to diverse student needs
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with a range of physical challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with IEP goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing expertise with educational teams
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services on-site
- Document student progress and maintain all required records in accordance with regulations
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff and families to support student progress
- Adapt interventions and equipment to create an accessible, inclusive environment
