Physical Therapist - School Setting in Royersford, PA

Make a difference this summer by providing physical therapy services to students in a supportive educational setting. The program runs from July 1 to July 30, operating Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 1 pm, at the 5/6 Grade Center. While specific caseload details are forthcoming, you can expect consistent daily sessions with a dedicated group of students.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice physical therapy in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and experience contributing to multidisciplinary teams
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to document student progress clearly

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to eligible students during the ESY program
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student success
• Document interventions, progress, and communicate updates as required
• Ensure adherence to school policies and professional standards of practice
