This contract, full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) starts ASAP and is ideal for skilled PTs seeking to create a more accessible and enriching school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in California
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP process and relevant documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt interventions based on individualized student needs
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented approach

Your Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to assess developmental, neuromuscular, and physical functioning within the educational environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support participation and access throughout the school day
  • Collaborate with special education and general classroom staff to support inclusive education
  • Document therapy sessions, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and contribute to IEP development
  • Provide training, education, and consultation to staff and families on safe mobility, accessibility, and adaptive equipment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to help students achieve their educational goals
