Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans to support student IEP goals
- Commitment to professional growth and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for students with diverse physical therapy needs
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services in compliance with IEPs and educational regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff, for holistic student support
- Monitor progress, maintain detailed documentation, and communicate updates to families and team members
- Educate and guide school personnel on strategies and accommodations to foster student participation and safety
