Physical Therapist - School Setting in Sacramento, CA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans to support student IEP goals
• Commitment to professional growth and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for students with diverse physical therapy needs
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services in compliance with IEPs and educational regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff, for holistic student support
• Monitor progress, maintain detailed documentation, and communicate updates to families and team members
• Educate and guide school personnel on strategies and accommodations to foster student participation and safety
