Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Arizona
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills working with students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt interventions to fit individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students as detailed in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans and therapy goals tailored to each student
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of progress and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ participation in educational activities
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Offer guidance and support for classroom staff in implementing accommodations and modifications
