School-Based Physical Therapist - Saint Johns, FL

You’ll collaborate with a supportive team while helping students achieve their mobility and developmental goals within the school setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state
• Prior experience working in a school environment preferred
• Understanding of school-based therapy documentation and IEP process
• Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and students
• Flexibility and time management for a part-time, variable schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled PT services to students in group and individual sessions
• Assess students’ physical and functional abilities as they relate to educational performance
• Develop tailored treatment plans and modify interventions based on student progress
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with school protocols
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and consult with educators and families
• Educate staff and families on exercises, adaptations, and equipment as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive atmosphere for students
