A full-time Physical Therapist position is available for the 2025/2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Saint Louis, MO. This contract role offers the opportunity to work approximately 36 hours per week, structured as 7-hour days, starting as soon as possible through May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities include providing direct Physical Therapy services to a caseload ranging from 30 to 60 students weekly, with variation based on individual needs and required therapy time. The therapist will develop and implement student goals, participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and regularly evaluate and report students' progress on their therapy goals. Additional duties involve creating therapy schedules and providing consultation to school staff as needed to support student success.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant state credentials
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in a physical therapy capacity
- Familiarity with educational and IEP processes
- Ability to manage caseload effectively, adapting to diverse student needs
