A full-time Physical Therapist role is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Saint Louis, MO, supporting a school district on a contract basis. This position requires a dedicated professional to deliver physical therapy services to a diverse student population, contributing to their developmental and educational success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing individualized goals tailored to each student’s needs.
- Participating actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Providing direct physical therapy services and interventions.
- Conducting evaluations and documenting progress on therapy goals quarterly.
- Creating and maintaining an efficient therapy schedule.
- Offering consultation and support to educational staff as needed.
The caseload ranges from 30 to 60 students per week, dependent on each student’s functional abilities and therapy time requirements. The workweek is 36 hours, structured as 7 hours per day.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
