A contracted Physical Therapist position is available in a school setting in Salem, OR, with occasional work in Dayton, OR. This role involves providing specialized therapeutic services to students, supporting their physical development and participation in educational activities. The position requires availability for 1-2 days per week, covering the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Assist students in improving mobility, strength, and functional abilities to enhance their learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and organizational protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches supporting student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school and healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with pediatric physical therapy practices and educational environment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently within limited weekly hours.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with regard to treatment documentation and reporting.

Location:

  • Salem, OR, with occasional assignments in Dayton, OR.
  • School-based work environment.
  • Contract position covering the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.
