Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Physical Therapist licensure in Oregon
  • Previous experience in school-based settings covering a range of student ages (K-12)
  • Ability to travel between multiple sites within the district (itinerant model)
  • References from the three most recent supervisors are required for consideration
  • Must be comfortable in an on-site only position; no virtual/VOCO options available

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students across diverse grade levels as part of a collaborative school team
  • Assess students’ motor skills and develop creative intervention plans to help students access their curriculum
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Support teachers and paraprofessionals by advising on accommodations and classroom strategies
