Step into a rewarding contract position, providing exceptional physical therapy services within K-12 school settings near Salem, OR. This full-time, onsite opportunity focuses on maternity leave coverage from September 8, 2026, through December 18, 2026. You’ll serve a diverse student population, working across multiple sites in an itinerant role that offers both variety and impact. This is a strictly onsite assignment and does not offer remote or virtual options.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Current, active Physical Therapy license/certification in the state of Oregon
  • Experience working in school-based settings, ideally with K-12 students
  • Ability to effectively manage a full-time caseload while traveling between multiple school locations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educational staff, students, and families
  • Three recent supervisor references (contact information required for consideration)
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, multi-site environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to support student achievement and participation
  • Assess and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed across various sites
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Share expertise and provide training as needed to staff regarding best practices
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and reports
