Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state
• Previous experience within school settings (preferred)
• Adaptability to work with students across a range of ages and abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educational staff, families, and other specialists
• Ability to travel between school locations as part of an itinerant assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students to develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy services in a variety of educational settings, adjusting techniques to suit individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers and school teams to support students’ IEP goals
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and make data-driven recommendations for continued development
• Provide training and support to school staff and families regarding therapy strategies
• Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based physical therapy
