School-Based Physical Therapist - Salt Lake City, UT

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active or pending Physical Therapist license in Utah
• Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations (preferred)
• Working knowledge of IEPs and special education processes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Capable of managing a varied caseload and adapting to dynamic needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct PT services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans
• Develop and implement targeted treatment plans to address mobility, motor skills, and functional needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and service logs in a timely manner
• Support school staff with training or strategies for classroom integration
• Advocate for student needs and help create an inclusive learning environment
