Make a difference supporting students across a close-knit network of schools near San Francisco, CA. This full-time, district-wide contract position offers the opportunity to provide expert Physical Therapy care for both the Extended School Year (6/15/26 - 7/17/26) and the 2026/2027 school year. Work with educators and families as the primary PT resource, helping students achieve their mobility goals in an encouraging, collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Physical Therapist license
- Experience in school-based physical therapy or pediatric settings preferred
- Proven ability to assess, develop, and implement therapy plans for K-12 students
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach—comfortable working across multiple school sites (all within close proximity to each other)
- Passion for helping young learners reach their fullest physical potential
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and support
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, progress, and required reports
- Contribute as an active member of the student support team, advising on adaptive equipment and accessibility
- Travel between district schools—all easily accessible within the same area
