School-Based Physical Therapist - San Francisco, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid California PT license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ physical development and classroom participation
• Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student and school environment
