Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • A current and active Physical Therapist license issued by the State Board of Physical Therapy
  • Prior experience in a school setting or within pediatric populations highly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and adapt to dynamic learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational needs
  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress while adjusting strategies as needed
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other allied professionals to support student participation in school activities
  • Train classroom staff and caregivers on recommended techniques and adaptive equipment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of effective learning environments
