Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A current and active Physical Therapist license issued by the State Board of Physical Therapy
- Prior experience in a school setting or within pediatric populations highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate across teams and adapt to dynamic learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational needs
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, implementing evidence-based interventions
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress while adjusting strategies as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other allied professionals to support student participation in school activities
- Train classroom staff and caregivers on recommended techniques and adaptive equipment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of effective learning environments
