Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and goals
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to manage a caseload across various grades and student needs

In This Role, You Will:

  • Evaluate students to determine mobility, function, and therapy needs
  • Create and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with educators, families, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely records according to school and district guidelines
  • Provide direct treatment, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Advocate for student access and progress in both school and community environments
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
