Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based PT preferred.
  • Ability to manage a K-8 caseload across multiple campuses.
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to serve various school environments.
  • Proficiency in maintaining thorough documentation and IEP participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of physical and developmental needs.
  • Deliver direct services and consultative support based on IEP requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student engagement and participation.
  • Track student progress and keep meticulous records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students.
  • Provide training to school staff to ensure carry-over of therapy recommendations.
