Key Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) licensure required
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB
  • Experience conducting comprehensive skills and functional assessments
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy services and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Strong ethical decision-making skills aligned with BACB guidelines
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough clinical assessments to determine students’ therapy needs and effective treatment approaches
  • Conduct comprehensive and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) using appropriate models and screening tools
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans customized for individual students
  • Provide clear, actionable treatment recommendations in accordance with ethical standards
  • Work in consultation with educators, families, and support staff to optimize each student’s school experience
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in school meetings, contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning, and ensure best practices are followed throughout care delivery
