School-Based Physical Therapist - Santa Fe, New Mexico

Located a short distance from vibrant Santa Fe, you’ll work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary school teams to provide essential therapy services, facilitate student growth, and empower learners of all abilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric therapy, highly preferred
• Ability to adapt treatment strategies to school environments
• Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized student therapy plans
• Effective communication with students, staff, and families
• Strong documentation and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in compliance with their IEPs and district requirements
• Provide therapy sessions and consultative support at two school campuses in the Santa Fe and Albuquerque area
• Collaborate with educators, other therapists, and caregivers to promote student engagement and progress
• Complete comprehensive documentation, progress reports, and paperwork as part of your weekly hours (averaging 20-25 hours per week)
• Attend relevant IEP meetings, student reviews, and interdisciplinary planning sessions as required
