Seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for pediatric therapy to provide physical therapy services to PreK and elementary students throughout the 2026/2027 school year. This contract position begins August 3, 2026, and concludes June 4, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week across four days—two days in Albuquerque and two days in Santa Fe.

Your expertise will make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by helping them achieve greater independence and success in their educational setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico
  • Previous experience working as a PT in a school setting ideal
  • Competence working with PreK and elementary-aged children
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet a range of physical and developmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group physical therapy services to PreK and elementary students
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on student IEPs, goals, and abilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Conduct assessments and reassessments, contributing to IEP meetings and reporting
  • Travel between Albuquerque and Santa Fe two days each week
