School-Based Physical Therapist - Santa Fe, NM

Details of the assignment:

• Commitment: August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027
• Weekly Schedule: 30 hours per week, spread over four days (Monday–Thursday)
• Locations: Two days each week in both ABQ and Santa Fe, working with multiple schools
• Age Range: PreK and elementary school children

Key Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Reliable transportation to commute between locations
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and schedule independently

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions to support students’ motor development and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other therapists to ensure integrated support
• Document student progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with district policies
• Partner with families to promote carryover of therapy techniques at home
