Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in North Carolina
- Minimum of one year of experience working with pediatric populations; school-based PT experience is highly preferred
- Proficient in planning and delivering therapy services tailored to student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills to partner with educators and families
- Ability to work independently across two nearby buildings
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to two students with individualized schedules: one requiring weekly sessions (compensatory hours needed) and one session per reporting period for the second student
- Assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
- Maintain quality documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Adjust caseload as needed, with potential for additional students throughout the year
