School-Based Physical Therapist - Schaumburg, Illinois

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as an onsite PT working part time, just two days per week (15 hours). Qualifications & Experience:

• Holds a valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience or interest in working in school settings (K-12)
• Comfortable providing services in both resource and self-contained classrooms
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
• Effective with time management and flexible in fast-paced school environments

• Deliver onsite physical therapy services to students in K-12, adapting interventions to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster a supportive educational experience
• Utilize available equipment and testing materials to perform assessments and interventions
• Participate in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and 1:1 leader check-ins for ongoing support and development
• Take advantage of professional development courses to expand your school-based practice skills
• Engage in process improvement initiatives aimed at refining service delivery for students
