School-Based Physical Therapist - Schaumburg, Illinois

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist, working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a supportive educational environment near Schaumburg, IL. This onsite, part-time position offers 15 hours per week, spread across two days, aligning with the academic calendar from early August 2026 through late May 2027. You’ll play an essential role in both resource and self-contained settings, shaping student progress through creative and compassionate intervention.

What you’ll bring:

• Current state licensure and certification as a Physical Therapist
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric, school-based, or educational PT services

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering tailored physical therapy services to students in K–12, both individually and in groups
• Assessing students, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress
• Collaborating actively with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Participating in monthly team meetings, annual reviews, and regular 1:1 leader check-ins
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives for best practices and efficiency
• Engaging in ongoing professional development with access to continuing education resources
• Utilizing on-site equipment and standardized testing materials
• Connecting with colleagues for real-time support and collaboration through an innovative, region-wide intranet
