Step into a rewarding contract role providing school-based physical therapy to middle and high school students. This part-time position is onsite, offering schedule flexibility with just one day per week (7.5 hours) from now through May 20, 2027. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist licensure in Illinois
  • Experience supporting school-aged children, ideally at the middle and high school levels
  • Understanding of IEP development, goal writing, and service delivery within educational settings
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions designed for students’ educational needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress toward IEP goals
  • Collaborate with staff and families to support student participation in school environments
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in necessary meetings
  • Utilize provided equipment, tests, and resources to enhance therapy sessions
