Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Physical Therapist license
• Valid (or ability to obtain) Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy is highly valued
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students, focusing on functional mobility, motor skills, and access to the school environment
• Conduct thorough assessments and progress evaluations, documenting findings and recommendations
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding strategies for accommodations and equipment needs
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations while staying up-to-date on best practices
