Travel physical therapists are needed for a contract assignment during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, located within the Scranton, PA area. This opportunity is perfect for PT professionals who are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential in a school-based setting.

This ESY role runs from June 29th to August 6th, offering a consistent schedule of three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 8:45am to 12:15pm, along with a brief orientation on Monday, June 29th.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience providing PT services in a school environment preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric therapy, IEP process, and adapting services to various student needs
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and support teams
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individual and group therapy sessions

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver individualized PT services to students under the guidelines of educational plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
• Track and document student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
• Communicate effectively with staff, school administrators, and families
• Support a positive, inclusive environment for all students
