School-Based Physical Therapist - Seattle, Washington

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Washington State
• Prior experience working with adolescents, especially in a school or pediatric setting
• Knowledge of adapting interventions and exercises to fit middle and high school students’ needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized plans for students in grades 6-12
• Work closely with faculty and parents to deliver tailored interventions and monitor students’ progress
• Document all therapy sessions and maintain accurate, detailed records in compliance with educational and clinical standards
• Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance student mobility and participation within the school environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for student care
