Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Washington State, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in schools preferred, but not required
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication abilities to interact with students, families, and staff
- Solid understanding of IEPs and documentation standards
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop tailored PT plans
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to students individually and in groups
- Document student progress, maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with other school professionals to support overall student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and accommodations
- Offer consultation to staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and access
