Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Washington State, or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working in schools preferred, but not required
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication abilities to interact with students, families, and staff
  • Solid understanding of IEPs and documentation standards

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop tailored PT plans
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to students individually and in groups
  • Document student progress, maintain compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with other school professionals to support overall student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and accommodations
  • Offer consultation to staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and access
