Physical Therapist - School Setting in Sherwood, AR

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Arkansas or ability to obtain
• Prior experience working within a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Thorough knowledge of best practices for school-based physical therapy
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Capability to manage a varied caseload and adapt interventions to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ physical and functional abilities within the school environment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on mobility, accessibility, and inclusion
• Collaborate with educational teams, including teachers, school staff, and families
• Document sessions and progress according to school district and legal requirements
• Provide recommendations for equipment, classroom modifications, and physical accommodations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for each student
