School Physical Therapist | Sicklerville, New Jersey

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide individualized services for a homebound student over the summer. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering compensatory PT services before the upcoming school year. The assignment consists of 12 half-hour direct sessions to be completed before school starts on August 31. The schedule is flexible and will be arranged to best meet the student's needs. Indirect or planning time may be determined at a later stage.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
• Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy
• Skilled in creating and implementing customized therapy plans
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with school personnel and families
• Ability to manage case documentation effectively
• Prior experience with homebound or compensatory PT services is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct 12 PT sessions (each 30 minutes) with a homebound student before August 31
• Develop individualized therapy strategies to support the student’s progress and mobility goals
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, goals, and outcomes
• Communicate regularly with family and relevant school staff
• Adapt activities to promote engagement and maximize therapy benefits
• Participate in any indirect or planning activities as assigned
