Step into a fulfilling in-person role supporting students’ growth and independence as a Physical Therapist in a school-based setting near Snohomish, WA. This contract position offers the flexibility of working approximately .4 FTE, or around 2 days each week, with scheduling adaptable to fit your preferred days.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students with diverse needs in a school environment
  • Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, families, and other therapy providers
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records following school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and advocacy for appropriate interventions and accommodations
  • Educate staff and families on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and supportive activities
  • Contribute to a collaborative, positive educational experience for all students

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Washington State
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
  • Understanding of IEP processes and school documentation standards
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to multiple school sites, settings, and diverse student populations
