We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to provide services during our Extended School Year (ESY) program. The ideal candidate will support students with physical and mobility needs in an educational setting while collaborating with staff and families to help students achieve their goals.

Position Details:

  • 3 days per week
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Program Dates: July 6, 2026 – August 7, 2026
  • Employment Type: Part-Time / Temporary (ESY)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess student motor skills, mobility, strength, and functional performance
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Knowledge of special education processes and IEP implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings
  • Flexible, organized, and student-centered approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.67 to $61.67. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
