We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for a rewarding summer school assignment. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students maintain and improve their functional mobility while enjoying a predictable summer schedule.

Position Details

• Part-time summer contract
• Monday–Thursday 8:30am-12pm schedule
• School-based setting

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' physical therapy needs and provide direct therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and families.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and mobility support.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation for this position ranges from $52.18 to $72.18. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
