Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
  • Strong ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with school staff, families, and students
  • Knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards preferred
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs within the educational setting
  • Create and carry out evidence-based treatment plans to support students' physical development
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate physical therapy seamlessly into students’ educational experiences
  • Maintain clear, timely records and documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and resources for school personnel on strategies and accommodations for improved student access and mobility
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
