Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Strong ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with school staff, families, and students
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards preferred
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs within the educational setting
- Create and carry out evidence-based treatment plans to support students' physical development
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate physical therapy seamlessly into students’ educational experiences
- Maintain clear, timely records and documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements
- Provide training and resources for school personnel on strategies and accommodations for improved student access and mobility
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
