Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to assess student needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, create individualized education plan (IEP) goals, and deliver PT services in accordance with school guidelines
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student access to curriculum and participation in school activities
- Document progress and maintain accurate records per regulatory requirements
- Provide education to school personnel and families about physical therapy techniques and equipment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
