Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations or in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Adaptable, organized, and compassionate approach to therapy and teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, document, and interpret students’ physical and functional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff, participating in IEP meetings and providing relevant input
  • Monitor progress and maintain detailed records of interventions and outcomes
  • Educate and support school staff and families with strategies for student mobility, accessibility, and safety
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $42.41 to $62.41. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
