School-Based Physical Therapist - Spotsylvania, VA

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-based Physical Therapy highly valued
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to evolving student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct PT sessions to students as outlined in their IEPs, primarily on a twice-weekly basis
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other allied professionals to support student progress
• Monitor, assess, and document students’ progress and make data-driven recommendations for interventions
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving objectives and student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of student-centered goals
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education services
