Physical Therapist - School Setting in Spring Lake, NC

Experience a fulfilling contract opportunity impacting students of all ages as a school-based Physical Therapist for the upcoming academic year and extended school year program. This role offers the chance to make a lasting difference, providing therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, working closely with a supportive PT/PTA team. You’ll be traveling between multiple schools in a thoughtfully coordinated area, ensuring time and mileage are managed efficiently, and travel expenses are reimbursed.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist license required
• Experience in school settings, particularly with early intervention or Pre-K, is highly valued
• Ability (or willingness) to obtain fingerprint clearance, with special consideration for those working with Pre-K students
• Familiarity with Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA) for PreK evaluations is a plus, though not required
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability while serving students across various grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective, compassionate physical therapy services to a vibrant student population
• Travel between school sites during school hours; caseload and travel locations supported and organized to maximize efficiency
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to devise and implement individualized therapy interventions and goals
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and document sessions in compliance with school and state standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
