Step into a valuable opportunity supporting students of all grade levels with a dynamic school-based physical therapy role. This contract position offers both summer and full academic year options, working closely with a collaborative PT/PTA team to positively impact student growth and development across multiple campuses.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist license required.
  • Experience in school settings, especially with Pre-K and early intervention, is a plus.
  • Must be fingerprinted prior to working with Pre-K students.
  • TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) certification for Pre-K evaluations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting diverse student needs.

Role Overview:

  • Provide direct PT services to a caseload of approximately 50 students in collaboration with the PT/PTA team.
  • Travel between several nearby schools throughout the week (mileage compensation provided).
  • Conduct assessments, participate in IEP meetings, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Serve students in ESY (Extended School Year) program: July 8–30, 2026, M-Th 8:00am–12:30pm; or full-time during the school year: August 13, 2026–May 28, 2027, M-F 8:00am–3:30pm.
  • Deliver services to students of various ages and ability levels in an inclusive, supportive educational environment.
