This full-time position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, offering an engaging schedule of 30 hours per week. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience providing PT in a school setting preferred
- Understanding of pediatric physical therapy best practices
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering student independence and mobility
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ physical therapy needs and establish relevant goals
- Develop and deliver tailored intervention strategies
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure cohesive care
- Document progress, update IEPs, and maintain required records
- Participate in meetings and offer expertise for related concerns and supports
- Provide education to school staff on mobility and positioning as needed
