Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Vermont
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, particularly at the elementary and high school levels
- Ability to adapt therapeutic plans to a range of ages and abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and other specialists
- Motivation to contribute to student success through creative and evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical or mobility challenges
- Deliver direct therapy sessions as outlined in IEPs and adapt activities to meet evolving student needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide accommodations and recommendations for the classroom and daily routines
- Document progress and participate in IEP and team meetings as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
- Prioritize a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
