What we’re looking for:
- Vermont Physical Therapist license (required)
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational teams
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor student treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners from kindergarten through high school
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct physical therapy services to a K-12 caseload in accordance with IEP goals
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs
- Documenting progress, maintaining records, and participating in IEP meetings
- Educating staff and caregivers on strategies and supports for student mobility and participation
- Traveling within the school as needed to deliver services in classroom or therapy settings
