School-Based Physical Therapist - Stockton, California

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy
• Valid Physical Therapist license, sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy
• Prior school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred, though not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students in accordance with IEP requirements
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student achievement and participation
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions in individual and group settings
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress, services provided, and ongoing needs
• Provide guidance and support regarding adaptive equipment, accessibility, and movement strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
