Physical Therapist - School Setting in Stratford, CT

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Physical Therapist to support students district-wide in a full-time, contract role for the remainder of the school year. This position begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, providing comprehensive therapy services across multiple school sites in a vibrant community located near Stratford, CT, and just minutes from Bridgeport.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current Physical Therapist license in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in a school-based environment is highly valued
• Ability to develop and implement IEP-driven therapy plans for diverse student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective coordination with educators, parents, and administration
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
• Flexibility to provide district-wide services and travel between sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to students across all grade levels
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Assess students’ physical capabilities and develop individualized therapy goals
• Consult with teachers and classroom staff on adaptive strategies and accommodations
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress toward goals
