Desired Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy license (state-issued)
- Experience providing pediatric, school-based PT services
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting
- Ability to assess students’ needs and recommend appropriate interventions
- Effective communication with teachers, students, and families
- Adaptability to work in multiple school sites within a district as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and evaluations for students referred for PT
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school teams
- Provide direct and consultative services in group and individual settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Support staff training on mobility, classroom adaptations, and assistive equipment
