Physical Therapist - School Setting in Stratford, CT

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license (state-issued)
• Experience providing pediatric, school-based PT services
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting
• Ability to assess students’ needs and recommend appropriate interventions
• Effective communication with teachers, students, and families
• Adaptability to work in multiple school sites within a district as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings and evaluations for students referred for PT
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school teams
• Provide direct and consultative services in group and individual settings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
• Support staff training on mobility, classroom adaptations, and assistive equipment
